This is foremost a course about reporting and writing. Most of the class work will consist of written assignments. Students will be required to write four stories, most of which will be written in two drafts. However, the professor will decide whether a student shall be granted the opportunity to rewrite a story. If a first draft shows little effort the professor may deny the opportunity of a rewrite. A student who fails to turn in a first draft will either receive a zero on the assignment or suffer a grade reduction up to one full grade on the second draft.
